The Switchover Help Scheme can help you switch to digital TV

TV is going digital all over the UK, and the traditional TV signal will be switched off in your area. This means that if you haven't got digital TV already, you will lose your current TV service. But you don't need to worry. The Help Scheme is here to make sure your TV set will work with digital.

For the Angus transmitter, serving Angus, Dundee and Perth this starts on 4 August 2010.
The Digital Help Scheme can help you convert your TV to digital if you:

  • are aged 75 or over; or
  • get or could get Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Constant Attendance Allowance or mobility supplement; or
  • have lived in a care home for six months or more; or
  • are registered blind or partially sighted.

If you are not sure if you are eligible for help, call free on 0800 408 5900, email info@helpscheme.co.uk or visit their website by clicking here (external link).
